How did the Now is the Time Campaign change you?
“The Campaign changed the way I saw youth rights. Watching films like Daughters of the Forest and Girl Connected I learned there were adolescents like me all around the world, facing teen pregnancy situations, because they did not get information, because parents thought they should not talk about these topics…or get family planning methods. Through film-screenings and workshops I learned about sexual and reproductive health, and now I am able to replicate all that knowledge with my peers, my brothers, my parents, even with my neighbors…We still live in a patriarchal society, but I now know I have the right to receive information and preventions methods, and pregnant girls have the right to continue their studies.”
